Y is for YogaSource

YogaSource has been my "home" in Santa Fe almost from the moment I arrived here five years ago. I was so worried about finding a good yoga studio, but I needn't have been, because you can't find better quality yoga instruction or a more wonderful atmosphere for a yoga practice.

This is a picture of Wendelin and Amy, the owners of YogaSource

Aren't they beautiful? All the people at YogaSource are this beautiful, believe it or not!
***
This is Ginna on the left, and Jenise, who had the terrible car accident. They are both yoga teachers.

Jenise is doing very well - this was her first social outing since the accident.

This is Amy's daughter, Rae. She's
five years old. She's in the crabapple
tree, because she planned a "Blessing"
for me, in which she shook petals from
the tree down on me.
It's the sweetest thing I've experienced in ages!

This is me, after Rae's Petal Blessing Ceremony

And here are more pictures from the party:

  4. Oh my gosh, how beautiful is that little girl giving you a petal blessing?! That would've made my day! She's gorgeous :) And I'm happy to hear that your friend is recovering well, how great it must feel for her to be out and about.

By the way, I've written a post on my blog today about microfiction, you may find it interesting Melissa being a writer and all. I thought I would point it out to you in case you wanted to take a look and read some of the clever little stories.

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

    1. Oh - thanks for for mentioning that! Jenise's boyfriend Don was playing with Laverne and got her all excited and she rolled over, stood up, took 10 steps and lay down again!! I think that instinct for playfulness and excitement and JOY just kicked in and up she went!
