We've arrived in Hubbards, Nova Scotia - a two day drive from Bar Harbor, Maine. We'd planned on three days, but we were making good time. It rained along the way, but the sky ahead looked clearer, so we decided to keep going. We were wrong about the sky - it was a deluge for most of the drive. But RVPainter kept it slow and here we are. This - the South Shore of Nova Scotia is supposed to be very beautiful. It's on the National Geographic list of top 10 must-go destinations for 2012. We'll be checking it out, of course, but this month is also one in which I plan to settle back into a writing routine.
So, I'm putting up my
GONE WRITING
sign.
I may post pictures occasionally, but generally plan to take the month off from blogging. RVPainter will be posting though, over at his
BLOG. He'll have pictures and updates.
Please stop over to say hi to him and to find out what we've been up to. So dear friends, thank you for following along on our journey, and I look forward to reconnecting with you soon.
Hey!! You're on MY side of the border. Welcome to Canada.
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask (or I have asked and forgotten) if you were going to be able to write - so I'm really happy for you that you're taking this time out. Enjoy it - I can just imagine the amazing inspirational venues you'll be writing in... jealous again :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Annalisa - we've been doing waaayyy too much vacationing. I feel the need to be productive and hope the venues will inspire me!

ReplyDeleteHi laura - I absolutely loved it, and in fact I think I am feeling withdrawal sadness. Though Nova Scotia is beautiful too - though we haven't gone adventuring yet. So far it looks lovely.
DeleteI hope you enjoy your writing time. We'll see you when you get back!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn. I am eager to write. And look forward to catching up with you later.
DeleteGood luck with your writing. Nothing like getting caught up in a new story.
ReplyDeleteHi Paul, thanks. Yes, I'm looking forward to having that feeling again.
DeleteDear Melissa, I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Have you decided not to visit blogs and comment also? I think that's the decision I need to make if I'm going to be serious about writing. What are your thoughts on this?????? Peace.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Nova Scotia! I look forward to seeing pictures. I have heard it is beautiful- but haven't been. Best of luck writing!!:)
