Got this picture of our finished RV kitchen - I'd forgotten that we got the cherry cabinetry over the refrigerator too - I'm glad we did because it looks nice (you can see 1/2 of it over on the right) ! We are counting down now:
Three weeks and three days until we fly to Elkhart, Indiana to pick up the RV
Eight more days of work at YogaSource
As it gets closer, I feel sadder about leaving my friends here, but really, I am Ready to Roll!
I love cherry cabinets! That looks so nice. Wow! A huge change coming soon!! Exciting to be off on an adventure, though. Can hardly wait to hear all about them. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the cherry too, so glad we got it! And can't wait to make my first Post from the Road xo
DeleteBeautiful cabinets and I love the colour of the counter and backsplash. All the comforts of home.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks really nice, doesn't it?? Cozy. I love it.
DeleteI'm getting excited and I'm not even going on the trip haha! It's looks absolutely gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteAnna, too funny! Maybe we'll see you along the way!
DeleteThat looks beautiful! What an adventure ahead ;)
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it look nice? I am very pleased!
DeleteHi DW - LOOK - room for me to do the dishes!!!!! I'll test out the oven while we are in Indiana by baking some brownies!!! We've got more room in this kitchen than we have in our TINY UNIT of an apartment!! :>) WOO-HOO
ReplyDeleteThis RV kitchen is WAY better than the one in this apartment!!
DeleteThat looks absolutely lovely, I'm so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great in there. Even I'd be tempted into a bit of baking in that oven!
ReplyDeleteI know! Dick is going to christen it with brownies :-)
DeleteIt looks beautiful! How exciting! When you are in Elkhart- stop in the RV Hall of Fame. It only takes an hour or two to go through and is cheap to visit. I went last year and it was amazing to look at all of the RVs through the ages. I am sure it will make you happy to have the modern one you have. :)

Stephanie - good thinking - we will! We'll be in Elkhart for about a week, making sure everything works and we know what we are doing! So we'll have time.
DeleteThis is so exciting, Melissa! I look forward to hearing about your travels! I'm just starting your charming book, The Christmas Village. Loving it so far!
ReplyDeleteOh! I'm excited that you are reading it! Glad you like it so far. OUr travels are getting close and I am so very very ready!~
DeleteThat looks so compact and elegant. I am looking forward to travel tales as you set off on the 'Grey Nomad' routes.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure we'll have some fun stories to share! thanks for coming along with us.
DeleteSooooo exciting! The kitchen looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracy!
DeleteExcept for the tiny oven, it looks like a real kitchen. That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt does! We're going to bake tiny muffins and cakes and brownies in the tiny oven - like an Easy Bake!
DeleteOooooh! Ahhhhh! That is some sweet kitchen! You can even bake cookies in it! I'm excited for you!
ReplyDeleteYes - totally functional! I hope to be grilling a lot, but it's definitely a usable oven!
DeleteDear Melissa,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Cherry is my favorite wood.
And thank you so much for ordering Dulcy's book. I read three more chapters of yours last night. I'm in Canterbury village now with the children. I am simply enthralled with your story. That's why I'm savoring it and not reading it at one setting. When I'm finished, I hope to write a review on Amazon. Your book deserves to be read widely.
Peace.
Thanks so much Dee! I'm glad you are savoring it :-) If I don't read Dulcy's book before we leave, I will certainly have time once we are on the road. I look forward to it.
DeleteThat looks soooo gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen looks great!
ReplyDeleteIt's always so hard to leave an experience you enjoyed, but then -- it's always so exciting to move on to the next adventure! Good luck getting everything ready!
Yes - we were just sitting down on the Santa Fe Plaza, and I was definitely feeling nostalgic! Santa Fe has been good to us, and I found a "family" and a sense of belonging. But I'm ready to go, and I will more "remember it fondly" than "miss it." so
DeleteOh my goodness Its hard to believe that that kitchen is in an RV! Its really cool!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joanne
Isn't it nice? Thanks xo
DeleteI've been hiding under a rock that is more like a boulder, but perhaps most resembles a mountain. I've been neglecting my Google Reader that contains all my favorite blogs for no good reason. I'm catching up now! I'm so excited that your home on wheels is almost ready. "Oh the places you'll go..." I WILL be trying my darnedest to keep up with reading, I don't want to miss your adventures!
ReplyDeleteOh dear girl - I thought of you just the other day. It's been a wild ride lately and I haven't been a good visitor either. Yes, we are SO close and I am SO ready. Good to hear from you and I'll stop by for a visit at your place tomorrow!
DeleteWow it looks beautiful. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's WAAAY nicer than the apartment we've been camped out in for the past 6 months! Can't wait to give you all the full tour. :)
DeleteThe kitchen looks great. I can feel your excitement. Happy Trails!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sally!
