I love Fridays because so many bloggers do fun things on  Fridays. It's like the bloggiland equivalent of Casual Fridays in the workplace. So I'm just going to send you off to visit a couple of folks who made me smile this morning:

Chatty Crone
Under the Tiki Hut
It's a Mystery

I know there are a lot more fun people out there, so please let me know about your favorite Friday Fun bloggers.

Tomorrow we are meeting friends for breakfast at a new Swiss Bakery/Cafe and then we are going to the Bataaan Museum. It's on our list of 101 things to do before we leave Santa Fe.

On Sunday, it's another trip to the Storage Bunker, as RVPainter likes to call it. We've got to get out the quilts that my cousin-in-law made us just for the RV, so that we can ship them to the RV manufacturer in Indiana. We'll be sending them a bunch of stuff that we'll need when we go to pick up the RV, because we actually have to be able to live in it and then drive it back here to Santa Fe. You know what this means, don't you???? It means we're getting close!!

I'm teaching the 11am Restorative Yoga class, and this is my last hurrah teaching at YogaSource, so boy is this going to be a nice class! I should probably get up out of this chair and go dry my hair!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Melissa, I am so excited for you as you get all ready for your trip. I hope that someday we will be able to do more of that. We have a nice travel trailer now, and only one dog, so it is just a matter of the economy picking up to give us some spending money. I want to get a laptop too, to use at home and on the road.

If you get to Central Oregon, please let me know!

    Take care,

    Kathy M.

    1. Kathy, I will! It's likely that will be 2013, as phase one is the east coast and up into Nova Scotia, with the Northwest being the second summer of travel. But we WILL get to Oregon eventually!

  4. Yo DW - When one realizes that we will be in Elkhart for 5 nights checking out our new home and learning how to use it ( I'll bake some brownies to check out the oven) and then 4 - 5 nights on the road to get back to Santa Fe. Couple that with it will only be April, and chilly at night, so lots of things will be needed and shipping them compared to BUYING them in Elkhart should be a lot cheaper. We'll end up with 6 boxes being shipped - I'm afraid they will think we are relocating to Elkhart! DH :>)

  13. Dear Melissa,
I hope you will blog about the Bataan Museum. That death march was horrific. I didn't know that museum even existed, so I'm eager to learn what is there.

    Peace.
