First Pictures of our New Home

Very exciting - we just got the first pictures of our new RV under construction - it's pretty far along as you'll see. We are just about 45 days away from going to Indiana to pick it up!

Here we go:

That's our new front door

Nexus logo over the cab

This side slides out to make it roomier inside

Our Dreamcatcher logo will go right there above Phantom

It's a little blurry - but that's your guest room under the bus - bring a blanket!

Kitchen area - nicer than here in the Tiny Little Apartment

The back wall will be the bed headboard. That's Dick's closet space there on the right :0

I'm told I have to take quick showers :(

Storage above the dinette and couch

Sorry we can't really see the living area, but I suspect it's rather a mess. Will post more pictures as they send them to us. Still, Very exciting!!

Re: my deletion above: My fingers are doing it again today - not translating to the keyboard what I'm thinking, and I'm not seeing the errors :-( ...

These trailers are amazing. My best friend here in Virginia and her husband have one, though not as sleek as this one. I'll bet you're incredibly excited. I would be if I were you!!

  13. How cute! One of our best friends had a gorgeous trailer like that. The side thingy pulling out really makes a huge difference, too. I could live in one! I like tiny, cozy spaces. LOVE your remark about your husband's closet! :)

Melissa: I just put up a new post, 4:49 p.m. today, Monday the 13th, and you and The Christmas Village are spotlighted. Just wanted to let you know so that if you have time you can come over. I've linked to your blog! Hope this will help sales of your wonderful story, a review of which I will now put up on Amazon.

  15. Dear Melissa,
How long is this RV? I can't tell from the photograph. I'm eager to see more when you have more photographs to share. This is exciting! Getting ready to go on the road.

    Peace.

    2. Dear Melissa,
As you say in your Valentine posting, you and your husband are going to be living in pretty cramped spaces! Thirty-one sounds long but I'm 5'4" so that's just six of me and that's not so long!

      Thanks for letting me know.

      Peace.

    1. Ann, thank you again for your wonderful review - I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the book so much, and also that my "subtext" came through for you - the parallels between 1932 and now, and things like that.

  21. I like the shower area. It’s like the ones I usually see in hotel rooms and such. It has that same elegant look! =) The bulky design and the color combination outside are pretty awesome. I hope to see more of the interior design soon. Congratulations, by the way, for owning a wonderful vehicle!

  22. How long did it take to finish the construction? I love the inreior features that you have there in your trailer. From wallpaper, to closet space, and up to storage. It really has a sophisticated touch. I feel like I’m on a gorgeous hotel! ;)
